Ross Bishop, President
Born and raised in Colorado, Ross earned his Engineering degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He worked as an Electronics Packaging Engineer for Lockheed Martin, and then started his own company as an Engineering Software Trainer and Consultant. Ross founded BrightLine Bags in 2007 during the time that he was working towards becoming a Certified Flight Instructor for Rotorcraft. He and his wife live just north of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Rafael, California where they enjoy Paragliding, Rock Climbing, Skydiving, and CrossFit.
Bryan Smith, Vice President
Bryan is in charge of Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Advertising at BrightLine Bags. Prior to BrightLine Bags, he owned a successful Vending and Office Coffee company in the Silicon Valley. Bryan happened upon BrightLine Bags at an airshow, the day after lamenting to himself while struggling with his flight gear, that there had to be a better flight bag. Seeing the enormous potential of the BrightLine Bag, he joined the company in June of 2008. When not working, Bryan enjoys playing guitar, writing music and playing baseball with his two sons. He has a BS from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Susan Arati, Director of Operations
Susan joined BrightLine Bags in September of 2008 and has been making the company run ever since.
